13 Don't Judge a Book by its Cover

Write a narrative about a situation where you were wrong about someone based solely on their appearance, or where someone misjudged you because of your appearance. Discuss what happened and how you felt.

Remember to:

  • Use paragraphs in your writing

  • Write in sentences

  • Check your spelling and punctuation

  • Avoid repetition by using lots of synonyms

    • For example, instead of sad, use depressed, downhearted, downcast, heartbroken, miserable.

    • Instead of dark, use gloomy, shadowy, pessimistic, cheerless, dejected, sombre

    • Instead of lonely, use desolate, barren, unwanted, unloved, stranded
