The rain fell or what seemed like rain. The strange water-like droplets sparked confusion throughout the city and many inquisitive citizens struggled to figure out what it was.

People all over the internet scoured to unravel this mystery substance. There I sat, at my computer scrolling. It was an unnatural sight and certainly surreal to see people all over the world wandering around the endless depths of the internet desperate to uncover the aqueous enigma.
In a moment of foolish spontaneity and driven by insatiable curiosity, I decided to try to solve this conundrum.I plunged into this mess and eventually I found a wiki page on a material called Calastyte and it intrigued me.
Calastyte is a material that melts in colder temperatures and creates a white, transparent and partially safe to drink liquid. Once transformed to a liquid state, it touches something, it is irreversible.
After some introspection, I decided to buy a chunk off the black market in the hardened form. Days passed and it finally arrived. I opened the packaging to find the clear and magnificent crystal. I then extracted it out of the case and quickly transferred the solid into a container, where it melted gradually.
After the slow period, its liquefaction ended, bumming me out. However, realising that the end product resembled the liquid which I saw in the park, I went to the park to see if they match.
In terms of colour, texture and smell, both substances matched. I felt like I was Einstein reborn.
Then I saw the disconcerting news.
“Scientists have discovered the substance to be Calastyte,a material which harbours the capacity to detonate after an undetermined period of time.”
My jaw dropped and my hands felt clammy. Yesterday, I had accidentally spilled Calastyte all over the house.
