Family Holiday

The tires screeched and the car disappeared. Moments later, we were on the highway and I was showered with shedded fur. The idea of my dogs to randomly pee or poop in the car upset me but the thought of being separated from these furry boys petrified me. Although we’d been driving for hours on inadequate rest, Dad wanted to take us on a memorable holiday.

Having dogs which were nutty as fruitcakes, we had a laborious time to keep them alive. When we would try to go out, they would bark and run away like gorillas gone wild.

Keeping this in mind, we set foot to our AirBnB and waited for our family friends to arrive for the sumptuous feast. Whilst the wait time was extensive , I sat on the balcony beguiled by the ravishing paradise and in the comforting company of my mum.

While waiting for the guests, I mindlessly wandered into the beach to look at the open ocean. Suddenly, my stomach started to ache and it got inordinately worse. I was left to lay in pain from the food poisoning in the darkness

Thankfully, my scruffy dog raced to my rescue. Barking like a mad man, he alerted my mum. Hearing his ruckus, she found me and quickly carried me home. I gripped for the broken door handle and slid it open. I frantically scrambled for the bathroom. The beast left me feeling incredibly weak.

My mum often checked up on me to see if I was ok whilst my two doggos kept sniffing me to make sure I was alright. Although Dad had planned a bunch of outdoor activities, he chose to play some online games with me at the air bnb and watching Pokemon.

Afternoon swept over and we took all of the dogs out to the beach, picking rocks from the water. All of us drove up to the beach and let our dogs loose while we set up a large tent. We huddled together and admired the stars. It wasn’t the holiday Dad had planned but it was the perfect holiday.
