The world is a fantastic place filled with iconic landmarks and mesmerising wonders. Of all the popularly frequented and remarkable locations, I desire to go somewhere I have never been before. Currently, on the top of my bucket list is Japan. Japan has the JDM (Japanese Domestic market) culture filled with interesting cars, spectacular auto-shows and unique retail shops.

The first reason I would travel to Japan is for the engrossing JDM car culture. The JDM car culture features a dynamic selection of car models exclusively sold in Japan. These are a miscellaneous variety of sport cars, city cars and kei cars perfect for a technology lover like me. I mostly admire kei cars as they are extremely small, compact vehicles amazingly able to squeeze through bustling Japanese cities.

Secondly, every street in Japan is lined with an abundance of unique retail shops and specialty restaurants with quirky interior design. In particular, the anime themed cat cafes have a lovely aura, and spark happiness, cuteness or affection for all customers. With limited access to premium Japanese gourmet dishes in Australia, a scrumptious meal in a comfortable restaurant will be an unforgettable experience!

Finally, I would have my first experience at an auto show. An auto show is similar to a mall, but this mall is filled with concept cars and inquisitive engineers. In an auto show, car brands will display their expensive brand new concept cars. Although you won’t be allowed to drive them, you are permitted to go inside these highly coveted cars.

Japan is the dream destination for car enthusiasts and premium food culture With large auto shows that contain fascinating and innovative cars, it is perfect for a car enthusiast like me. Japan is a country which has blown my mind and undoubtedly remains at the top of my bucket list.
