On the drawing board is a monstrous creation. It was something too good to be true. It stood at 14m tall, 12,500 KG, 1.65 M wide and 1000 KG of explosives. I sat there stunned, eyes wider than the rocket itself. It seemed impossible to build this monstrosity but the Zanis thought otherwise. The general asked for recommendations for what to call it.
I bolt my hand up and shout, “V-2 Rocket!”
The general smirks and happily agrees.
“Dismissed!” the general shouts.
Little does the general know who I really am… I am a master of espionage, trained in the arts of stealth and deception. It was our mission to take down the Zanis.

It’s the dead of night as the moon hung low and cast ethereal shadows over the misty land. It was silence except for those annoying crickets. Not a person in sight.
The rocket is launched. The roar of blasts shakes the camp like an earthquake. A blinding flash zooms off in front of me. As the rocket whirs in the sky, flames lick the heavens, heralding destruction.
I watch the rocket go as I think about the crimson rivers and cold hands its going to make. I shake my head and pull those thoughts out of my head.
“This isn’t going to happen!” I think to myself.
Determined to prevent this catastrophe, I run out of the camp to a small tugboat. My friend takes me away to a small island with a short runway. We take off into the night in our P51 Mustangs chasing for the missile, as the Zanis relaxed their vigilance and fell into a false sense of security.
It comes into sight. The bright light of the rocket blinds our eyes as we put on our goggles. “FIRE!” I shout. A barrage of bullets go flying at the missiles. The rocket is too fast. Our bullets miss gliding centimetres off the rocket.
It's not the end… Undeterred, I launch one of my rockets at it. It was a long ten seconds.
BULLSEYE.
It smashes into the rocket’s engine causing an unimaginable explosion engulfing the enemy in chaos. Moments felt like hours as the Zani’s reign had ended. A sigh drops down my spine. The engine noise rattles my head as I fly back to base. Behind me, the enemy camp lay in ruins, its power thwarted and ambitions crippled. Cheering noises in my head as the war has stopped in a flash.
