During my school holidays, my family and I went to the famous Sydney Royal Easter Show, heres my honest review. It is a tradition that my family and I go to the Easter Show every year but is it actually worth it?
The main reason my family goes to the Easter Show is for the food. Some of my all time favourite things to get is the fairy floss, the lemonade, cheese dog, Oreo churros and the Dole whip. To be honest though, some the portions of food are significantly small for the amount that you are paying. For example, the cheese dog is tiny but costs $7. There is a wide selection of food at the Easter show some being very unique but some also not being worth the money. Some things that might sound cool like a lasagna on a stick actually is quite terrible and I wouldn’t recommend to first time comers.
There are a lot of fun activities, rides and games at the Easter Show for all ages which is great considering the large variety of people that go each year. Personally my family and I prefer to eat and look at stalls than rather ride rides but the rides, games and activities looks fun none the less.
You will be able to find an interesting selection of stores selling different things such as food, decor, toys and more. I tend to find that some of the stores are quite expensive for what they are selling but others can be really good and affordable. Just be aware that some things you buy the quality might be cheap but I strongly recommend looking in the domes at all the different stalls.
That basically wraps up everything I have to say. For me, I think it is worth it to go for the experience and I highly recommend it if you go with family or friends as well. I rate the Easter Show a 4 out of 5 stars just because some of the things are not worth it but overall I enjoy it every time I go.

The Easter Show is the most fun place I have been to in my entire school holiday. It was spectacular there and my family and I had the most fun of our entire lives! We first walked around to the animals which were nice and fun to feed. I think this would be a staple for young children. Then we walked around the colourful stalls to get food. The food was great as they had all you could expect at a carnival such as fizzy soda and heartwarming hotdogs. Next, the show bags as we walked over to the barn and picked our show bags. It was fun for us to choose what bag we wanted but this was a more young kid's need so for me it wasn’t the most fun. To end the day off we went on some rides. They were the most fun as my cousins and I cued for each and every ride. The most fun one being the Terminator as it had you spinning anticlockwise and clockwise in a pickaxe and the seats would rotate at supersonic speeds. The speed of the ride pumps adrenaline through your veins, making it my favourite ride. To give the Easter show a rating out of ten, it would be a 10/10 it was the greatest fun of my life and I love to do it again.
