Space is an endless void of stars and planets which have baffled astronomists for thousands of years. It brings opportunities for example, if a disaster comes where can we go next? Or we can mine asteroids and find out what else is out there. Space has a myriad of new possibilities which can lead us to a brighter future.
First of all, space allows us to research and find new planets, moons, stars and galaxies. These may present new possibilities in colonisation. For instance, due to asteroids, solar flares or climate change, human survival may be at risk. With the Curiosity rover already traversing Mars, perhaps the future generation can save themselves from extinction by existing on a different planet. Space exploration opens up new doors and furthers technological advancements taking us to the next level and into other planets
Second of all, space exploration presents infinite economic benefits. For example, we can mine asteroids, discovering unprecedented elements and molecules to advance our chemical knowledge. We may locate new species of bacterias or microrganisms critical to biomedical research. Space exploration also pushes innovation in the satellites and communication industry, thus creating more STEM related careers.
Finally, space exploration fosters inspiration and encourages more scienfiic discovery. Therefore, new generation expands their knowledge of the universe, moons and the stars. Furthermore, space exploration will enable better techniques and skills to protect our environment.
In conclusion, space exploration and research should be needed for a more advanced and knowledgeable future. We would be able to mine asteroids, research new planets and stars, grow our curiosity and have a deeper knowledge of the universe.
