Needs

We live on a beautiful planet filled with lush vegetation and wonderful wildlife. Yet, this precious planet has become overwhelmed with mountains of trash, pollution, humans and houses. Humanity has taken over and we are extremely greedy. We don’t talk to the homeless solicitously, we don’t care about animals. We overeat and throw away leftovers, completely ignoring almost a quarter of a billion malnourished people in over 58 countries. We are intemperate and we must stop.

Our earth supplies life. Due to the overtake of humanity, our earth is dying. We must not let it perish under the pressures of economic shock, climate change and conflict. Now our society is malicious, constantly engaged in wars and battles. All we need is breakfast and dinner but we implemented lunch as our gluttony rose.

We take the wood, minerals, food and water, leaving very little for the animals. It doesn’t matter. All these animals we will slaughter. Homes crumble and buildings umble under the battles and wars. The ashes create a mess and security is less.

Now we eat all we want as our earth dies on us, taking everything down to the soil. Animals farmed, plants ripped. Our laughter is haunting. Our smiles terrify us. Our excitement makes us scream. The adrenaline is taking over.

This pain must end. A deep sigh commences. Look around and watch the surrounding nature. Can you see the light tear drop slide down the cheeks of the animals? Can you hear the cries of the precious trees in the cool winds?

It is time to put an end to all of this. Let it just be a cautionary tale, a horrible story from a hundred thousand years ago.

Exit this reality and walk to the calm field. Trash and pollution can feel just like a tale. Overeating can become just part of the imagination. We have what it takes to satisfy our needs, but not every man’s greed.
