Our adorable pooches continue to astound us with their positive impacts on mental health, with news reports celebrating their ability to aid our fellow ‘comrades’ who have suffered the uttermost horrible experiences. Usually, we perceive them as adorable and mischievous pets but they are much more than that - capable of forming incredibly transformations for our mental health! Our four-legged professors help thousands to millions of disabled and elderly people around the world by defending, accompanying and guiding them!
Pooches come in surprising shapes, sizes and colours, from the crazy chihuahua to the gigantic Leoburger, but are all incredibly approachable. They can take away the stress of a monotonous day with their cute puppy eyes. Simultaneously, they can annoyingly shed so much fur that you will feel like a puppy too. However, we still love them. Pets are lifelong companions who use their lives to teach us how to strengthen bonds through body language and communicate, ultimately teaching us about love and empathy.
Moreover, our precious pooches are extremely loyal like an elder sibling. Ever since a young age, I always had a pet. Like a top sheriff, they have a strong sense of responsibility for you and their precise olfactory senses allow them to accurately detect dangers and threats. I’ve had this experience before when one day I boulderned on a small rock climbing wall. When I laid at the to, my dogs barked out of protective instincts as if to warn me to be cautious.
In addition, pooches possess the understanding, emotional intelligence and empathy of an experience teacher, except the only homework necessary is to pet them. When you are under pressure or frustrated, your dog will aid you by warmly snuggling with you. They can understand emotions and they support human psychological conditions such as anxiety*, panic attacks and post-traumatic stress disorder. They can identify and differentiate an extensive list of human emotions, such as crying, happiness and anger, and then our little pooches can determine what to do. In a scientific study, dogs were able to discriminate between the breath and sweat taken from humans before and after a stress-inducing task.
With special powers of kindness, loyalty and care, our professor pooches should be used to help disabled, elderly and really anybody! Although they do not have voices, our adorable pooches are changing the world day by day!
