Should Australia Accept All Asylum Seekers?

Write a persuasive text on the topic, 'Australia should accept all asylum seekers'.

They fled from their country. They hid from them. They ran far. They came here to Australia. Why don’t we let them in? It is unacceptable that we leave them stranded, left to die. Australia has been known as a multicultural society but if we don’t let asylum seekers in is it really?

Starting off, asylum seekers deserve water, food, safety, shelter and love. Asylum seekers come by boat, fleeing away from gruesome wars. Leaving them stranded might result in their desolation and depletion of hope. As a well developed government/department, we have the capacity to improve and do our part in international peace and diplomacy. They fled desperately for their lives so why don’t we provide a safe haven for them to live successfully?

Continuing on, letting them in can result in welcoming very strong and heartful people who can make a gargantuan, positive impact in our society and economy. With the arrival of new refugees, they bring in new perspectives and cultures. A lot of refugees are highly educated and can fill gaps in our labour market. You never know who they truly are and one of them can change the course of our future. 

Finishing off, letting asylum seekers reassure their family members and loved ones at home that they have made it to safety.Keeping peace between families and countries. Without this peace war and other detrimental issues could arise.

In conclusion, it is a must to let asylum seekers worldwide into Australia as it results in joyful friends and family, a better future and a better life for those people. It can make tensions between countries softer and saying this again, it is a must to let asylum seekers in.
